Wisdom and Knowledge
In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. ~ Colossians 2:3 ~
Wisdom and knowledge are ultimately found in Christ. Job cries out in his anguish for wisdom, which is more difficult to find than precious metals. In the end of the book of Job, God reveals Himself and asks Job seventy- seven questions dealing with creation and nature. Thereby, Job discovers that God is the source of true wisdom.
Colossians tells us that all wisdom and knowledge are in Christ. He is the Son of God in human flesh. But how do we discover these treasures? By prayer, careful study of the Bible, by our joyful obedience in worship, witnessing and fellowship with believers and by leading a moral life.
