Creation Reveals God to Us
Romans 1:20 - For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
This verse tells us that God has revealed His eternal power and divine nature through creation. So much so that we have no excuse to deny His existence. Much evidence points to intricate design that cries out for a Designer.
Many people reject this argument because nature is characterized by predation, sickness and death. They fail to realize that the Bible teaches that we live in a fallen world because of Adam's sin. The same apostle Paul, who uses the design argument in this text tells us in Romans Chapter 8 that the whole creation has been subject to futility and is in bondage to decay.
God will not allow this to continue. Because Christ died for our sins and rose again He has purchased for us eternal life with Him in the New Heavens and the New Earth. This is the hope of the Christian!
