Abundant Life
2 Peter 3:18- "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."
- When we become children of God and are born again we begin a new life of spiritual growth. Peter tells us in his final words before his crucifixion, the nature of this growth. We are to grow in grace which means we are to rely more and more on Him to live His life through us. This will result in the fruit of the Spirit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. (Gal. 5:22)
This will also increase our knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who gives abundant life both now and for eternity!
